This past week at Camp Maripai was an active one indeed! During the week, as usual, our campers participated in horse riding lessons, archery lessons, and, of course, canoeing! But the highlight of this week was undeniably the unit-lead All-Camp Olympics.

During this event, each unit took to planning and setting up an activity/event for the rest of the campers. They earned gold, silver, and bronze medals and had a BLAST!

Week 3 at Camp Maripai is off to a WINDY start! But we're having a blast

This week of camp has been a very exciting week at camp! For the first time in seven years, campers are back it on the canoes! Canoeing has teaches them communication skills, patience, and teamwork. 

 Campers have been participated in activities against bullying. Here the girls are "talking behind each others back" but what they are really are doing is writing compliments about each other. (: 

 Summer camp isn't complete with a few arts and crafts!

In a circle of friends activity campers express the importance of being a good friend and sister to one another. 

 And here we have some counselors being goofy!

The first campers have arrived!! And none are too shy to get silly with their counselors and fellow campers!
