A Showdown at the O.K. Corral

As part of our western theme this week our archery instructor, Nala, decided to pose a shootout challenge to 3 girls from one of the units. Whoever beat her with the most points scored in archery would have the honor of pieing her in the face after our banquet. Well one girl came out victorious and as promised she was able to pie Nala in the face. A few of our staff decided to join in the fun as well!

  1. My daughter's favorite counselor was Nala. :D But where are the human targets on the archery bullsize I heard so much about?

  2. They did not post a picture of it, but essentially we printed out four 8.5 x 11 inch sized cowboy silhouettes (since we have four targets) and pretended to have a shoot out with those silhouettes. :) Also, I hope your daughter had a wonderful time at camp this past summer.

  3. Hello,

This is Nala, and I hope your daughter had a fun time; this was one of my favorite weeks. We did have the cowboy silhouette on the targets for all of the girls that week, but when I had the competition, I decided to remove them so we could count points.

Hope your daughter decides to come to Camp Maripai this summer!
